As a part of his nationwide consulting practice, Dr. Connors has worked as an expert witness and project manager on a number of legal cases involving potential landfill contamination. The impacted media have included soil, sediment, groundwater, stormwater and surface water. The contaminants involved have included metals, VOCs, nutrients, PFAS, and other compounds. His work has included evaluating and reinterpreting groundwater monitoring systems, installing and sampling monitoring wells and soil borings, computer modeling, data analysis, alternative liner evaluation, expert witness reports and testimony, and regulatory interaction.
